Bing Search Results Removal Service

Most people focus on Google when addressing harmful search results. But Bing powers more than just Bing—DuckDuckGo and Yahoo both source most of their web search results from Bing’s index. A successful Bing removal request removes the content from all three search engines at once.

We handle Bing deindexing through Bing Webmaster Tools, Bing’s personal information and NCII removal processes, and Bing’s AI content removal pathway. We run Bing removal in parallel with Google deindexing so both search ecosystems are addressed. You only pay after results are confirmed.

Why Bing removal covers more than just Bing

Bing is the second-largest search engine in the US and powers Microsoft Edge’s default search, Cortana, and the Windows search experience. More importantly, it is the underlying index for DuckDuckGo’s web results and Yahoo’s web search results. When content is deindexed from Bing, it is removed from DuckDuckGo and Yahoo results as well. Competitors rarely explain this—it means Bing removal has significantly more coverage than its market share alone would suggest.

Bing and Google are independent search engines with separate removal processes. Content deindexed from Google does not automatically disappear from Bing. Bing recrawls pages on its own schedule and will eventually reflect source changes—but that passive process can take months. If you have already removed content from Google, a direct Bing submission is still required to clear it from Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Yahoo.

DuckDuckGo

Powered by Bing's index

DuckDuckGo’s web results are primarily sourced from Bing. A Bing deindexing request removes the content from DuckDuckGo results as well.

Yahoo

Also uses Bing's index

Yahoo’s web search results are largely powered by Bing. Bing removal covers Yahoo automatically.

Separate from Google

Independent process required

Google deindexing does not affect Bing. Bing requires its own Webmaster Tools submission even for content already removed from Google.

Bing also has removal tools and processes that differ from Google’s. Bing Webmaster Tools handles standard URL deindexing. Bing’s personal information removal form covers name combined with contact details. Bing’s NCII process covers intimate images. And Bing has a separate AI content removal pathway—its Responsible AI Content Removal form—for AI-generated harmful content, including deepfakes. This pathway is distinct from Bing’s standard tools and addresses a growing category of harm that does not fit the standard personal information or NCII processes.

When we handle Google search result removal, we run Bing removal in parallel—covering both search ecosystems in the same engagement rather than leaving Bing to catch up on its own schedule. Our broader content removal service covers both.

Why Bing results persist after Google cleanup

The most common Bing removal situation is: someone has already addressed harmful content in Google search results and then notices the same content is still appearing in Bing—or DuckDuckGo, or Yahoo. Google deindexing did nothing for those search engines because they operate independently. Each requires its own submission.

Bing Webmaster Tools URL removal is fast for straightforward cases—often within days. But not all Bing removal is through Webmaster Tools. Bing’s image search index is separate from its web index. A URL removal through Webmaster Tools removes the page from Bing web results but does not remove images from Bing Image search. For NCII cases in particular, both the web result and the image result need to be addressed through different processes.

AI-generated harmful content—deepfakes, AI-generated NCII—is a growing category. Bing has a specific form for this type of content that is separate from its standard personal information or NCII removal tools. Most people are not aware it exists. We handle submissions through this pathway for qualifying cases.

Google deindexing doesn't reach Bing

Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Yahoo operate independently from Google. Content removed from Google still requires a separate Bing submission to be cleared from those search engines.

Bing Image search is a separate process

Standard Webmaster Tools URL removal does not remove images from Bing Image search. These require a separate submission through Bing’s image removal process.

Bing's AI content pathway is distinct

AI-generated deepfakes and AI-generated NCII have a specific Bing removal form separate from standard personal information tools.

What we can remove from Bing search results

We help individuals and businesses remove harmful, outdated, or sensitive content from Bing search results quickly and securely.

Content already deindexed from Google

The most common case — content removed from Google that still appears in Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Yahoo. We submit a Bing Webmaster Tools request to clear it from the Bing-powered search ecosystem.

Personal information

Name combined with contact details (address, phone, email) appearing in Bing search results—addressed through Bing’s personal information removal form.

Non-consensual intimate images

Bing’s NCII removal process covers intimate images shared without consent—independent of Google’s equivalent process.

Bing Image search

Images appearing in Bing’s image search index. Separate from web index removal—requires a distinct submission through Bing’s image removal process.

AI-generated harmful content

Deepfakes and AI-generated NCII—addressed through Bing’s Responsible AI Content Removal form, which is distinct from standard personal information or NCII tools.

Content violating Bing policies

Content that violates Bing’s content policies—harassment, doxxing—addressed through Bing Webmaster Tools.

Most Bing cases are handled alongside Google

In most situations, Bing removal is part of a broader search result cleanup that also addresses Google. The underlying source content is the same; the deindexing steps are run on both search engines. You pay only for results we achieve.

How Bing search result removal works

1

Audit

We identify what is ranking for your name in Bing search, image search, and across DuckDuckGo and Yahoo. We assess the content type and determine which Bing removal tools apply—Webmaster Tools deindexing, personal information removal, NCII, image removal, or AI content removal. We check whether the same content has already been addressed in Google, and if so, we proceed directly to Bing submission.

2

Remove

We pursue source removal where applicable and submit Bing removal requests through the correct tool for each content type. For content removed from Google, we file the Bing Webmaster Tools submission immediately. For NCII and AI-generated content, we use the appropriate dedicated processes. We run Bing removal in parallel with Google deindexing when both search engines are affected.

3

Repair

After Bing results are addressed, the same repair approach applies as for Google: building authoritative content that holds the search result positions across both Bing web results and Bing Image search for your name. Because DuckDuckGo and Yahoo also reflect Bing’s index, repair content that ranks well in Bing reaches all three search engines.

4

Monitor

Bing recrawls content regularly and can reindex pages that have been removed if the source content reappears. We monitor Bing search and image results for your name to catch any re-indexing quickly. Ongoing monitoring is part of the broader reputation management approach.

Frequently asked questions about Bing search results removal

If I remove content from Bing, will it also be removed from DuckDuckGo and Yahoo?

Yes, in most cases. DuckDuckGo sources most of its web results from Bing’s index, and Yahoo’s web search is largely powered by Bing. A successful Bing deindexing request removes the content from all three search engines. This makes Bing removal more valuable than Bing’s standalone market share suggests.

Bing and Google operate independently. Google deindexing has no effect on Bing. Each requires its own submission through separate tools. We handle both as part of a comprehensive search result cleanup.

Not immediately. Bing will eventually reflect source changes as it recrawls, but this passive process can take months. A direct Bing submission through Webmaster Tools is much faster. If content has been removed from Google, a separate Bing submission is still required.

Yes. Bing has a Responsible AI Content Removal process specifically for AI-generated harmful content—deepfakes and AI-generated NCII. This is a separate pathway from Bing’s standard personal information or NCII tools. We handle submissions through this process for qualifying cases.

Yes. Bing’s image search index is separate from its web index. Standard Webmaster Tools URL removal does not remove images from Bing Image search. There is a separate image removal process. For NCII cases, both the web index and image index need to be addressed independently.

Bing Webmaster Tools URL removal processes within days for straightforward requests. Personal information and NCII removal typically take one to three weeks. We handle submissions and track progress throughout.
