How long does it take to remove a review?
Timelines vary by platform. Some reviews come down in a matter of days. Others require formal escalation and can take several weeks. Google review removals typically take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the grounds. We will give you a realistic timeline after reviewing your case, and we keep you updated throughout the process.
Will the reviewer be notified if their review is removed?
On most platforms the reviewer is not directly notified that their review was removed by a third party. They may notice it is gone if they check, but there is no automatic alert sent to them identifying who flagged or disputed it.
What if the platform already rejected my removal request?
A rejected request is not the end of the road. Platforms reject initial flags for a number of reasons, including incomplete information or requests that do not cite the right policy grounds. We know how each platform handles escalations, what evidence strengthens a case, and which channels are most effective when a standard request has already been denied. Many of the reviews we remove were previously rejected by the platform before we got involved.
